Cave Tour – Caves & Caverns (4h) Discover the volcanic heart of Terceira Island with Jump In Azores! Prepare for a fascinating journey into the heart of Azorean nature, where the force of volcanoes has shaped unique landscapes and created some of the most extraordinary places in the Azores. 🌋 Start – Algar do Carvão Our first stop is Algar do Carvão, an impressive natural monument where you can enter the interior of an ancient volcano and admire its geological formations, vegetation-covered walls, and magnificent volcanic vault. 🪨 Gruta do Natal Next, we head to Gruta do Natal, a lava tunnel that reveals the secrets of the island's volcanic activity. Walk through ancient lava galleries and discover the shapes and textures left by nature over thousands of years. ♨️ Furnas do Enxofre The experience ends at Furnas do Enxofre, a geothermal landscape where you can observe the fumaroles, smell the characteristic aromas of sulfur, and learn more about the volcanic activity that continues to be part of life on Terceira Island.
